How to download the history of all your Shopify listings

Overview

The Shopify Listings report is a downloadable .csv history of all your listings to your Shopify store within a given date range. The report includes auction names, listing dates, number of bids, starting and current price, listing status, and more.

How to Access the Shopify Listings Report

  1. Click the reports icon in the top right corner of Lister to navigate to the Reports page

  2. Click “Shopify Listings” in the left column


How to Download the Shopify Listings Report

The Shopify Listings report will populate data based on your selected criteria below.

  1. Between: Select a date range for when the listings were created in Lister.

    • Note: Listings will populate based on the date they were created in Lister, not the date they were published to the marketplace

  2. Timezone: Select your desired timezone for the report

  3. Click “Generate report” and optionally enter your email address to send a copy once it’s been created

    • Depending on how much data will be included in the report, this may take several moments to complete

  4. Download and open the report from the Past Reports section of the reports page or from your email account (if entered in the popup in box 3, above)


Definitions of Report Columns

Once opened in a spreadsheet, the following data is available to view and manipulate as needed:

  • Column A - Product SKU: Product SKU of listing

  1. Column B - Title: Listing title as it appears on Shopify

  2. Column C - State: Current state of the listing, as defined below:

    1. Pending: Listing is awaiting approval to list via the Pending Listing Review feature

    2. Listed: Listing is currently active on Shopify

    3. Listing Failed: Listing is awaiting action the the “Attention Required” tab of the Shopify Listing Manager

    4. Relisting Failed: Relisted item awaiting action in the “Attention Required” tab of the Shopify Listing Manager

    5. Delisted: Listing was manually ended by a user, or an automated action by Lister

    6. Expired: Listing ended without bids and is awaiting the next step of the Listing Strategy, or manual relist

    7. Sold: Listing sold and purchased by the buyer

    8. Unpaid: Listing sold and is awaiting payment from the buyer

    9. Purged: Listing either went unpaid and was automatically relisted or reached the end of the Listing Strategy without a sale. These listings will appear in the Recycled tab of the Listing Manager. Important Note: This is NOT the same as a purged Product!

  3. Column D - Inventory Location: Shows the current Lister inventory location for the associated Product

  4. Column E - Price: Current price of the item, set at the point of listing, via a Listing Strategy, or via a Price Override

  5. Column F - Compare at Price: Displays the current Compare at price, set chosen at the point of listing, or via a Price Override

  6. Column G - Quantity: Shows the quantity level set at the point of listing

  7. Column H - Barcode: Indicates if the manufacturer’s barcode was added to the listing

  8. Column I - Product Type: Shows what Lister Category the item was listed to

  9. Column J - Template Suffix: Indicates if a custom Shopify store template was used when listing the item

  10. Column K - Fulfillment Service: A Fulfillment Service is a third-party warehouse that prepares and ships orders on behalf of the store owner

    1. Note: If you fulfill your own orders, this column will display “Manual” for each of your listings

  11. Column L - Inventory Management: Shows “Shopify” if the inventory is tracked by Shopify. Inventory can be tracked by store location(s) and/or third-party fulfillment service(s)

  12. Column M - Inventory Policy: Indicates if the listing can be purchased once out of stock

    1. CONTINUE: Customers can buy this product variant after it's out of stock

    2. DENY: Customers can't buy this product variant after it's out of stock

  13. Column N - Tax Code: Indicates what tax code (if any) is assigned to the Shopify product

  14. Column O - Options: Indicates if any additional options were added to the listing

  15. Column P - Shopify Tags: Provides a list of all tags assigned to the listing

  16. Column Q - Relist Count: Indicates how many times the item has been relisted

  17. Column R - Collections: Shows what Shopify collection the item was assigned to

  18. Column S - Shopify Account: Shows the name of your Shopify store

  19. Column T - Shopify Product ID: Shopify listing number

  20. Column U - Shopify Variant ID: Alternative Product ID number (if available)

  21. Column V - Start Time: Starting date and time of the listing

  22. Column W - End Time: Ending date and time of the listing

  23. Column Y - Poster: Teammate who created the listing

  24. Column Z - Supplier: Origin store/supplier of the Product, unless manually changed at the point of listing

  25. Column AA - Listing Strategy Step: Indicates what step of the Listing Strategy the listing is on, starting at zero for the first step, 1 for the second step, and so on. A blank entry indicates the listing was posted without a Listing Strategy

  26. Column AB - Currency: Shows what currency the price and compare at price (columns E and F) are displayed in

  27. Column AC - Shopify Product Status: Shows if the product is archived or active in Shopify
