Kojo offers several different role types to accommodate various permissions, access, and usage profiles. All new users must be assigned to a role, and here we'll break down what each role type has access to.

Admin

Organizations at Kojo can have as many Admin users as they need. The Admin designation allows a user to perform the following functions:

  • Add, Edit, Delete users

  • Approve or Deny job access requests

  • Access any Job, regardless of the account's permission settings

Any user role can be an Admin.

Field

Field users have access to both the Kojo Jobsite app on mobile devices (including tablets) and access to Kojo Jobsite web at https://www.kojo.app. They can use Kojo Jobsite to order material, check statuses, and receive deliveries.

Field users can only send Requisitions through Purchasing, and not directly to a Vendor.

Field users are typically Foremen or Project Managers.

Field Ordering

Field Ordering users have the same access and tools as Field users, but can also send Orders directly to a Vendor.

Field Ordering users are typically Foremen or Project Managers.

Write Purchase Orders and Forward Deliveries Permissions:

There are two permission toggles that can be turned on and off for all user types:

"Write Purchase Orders" and "Forward Deliveries".

These can be turned on and off for each individual user by going to the users section of the Admin settings and selecting "Modify Permissions" from the Options menu next to that user's name:

A pop-up window will then appear where you can toggle these permissions on or off for that user and save your changes:

Procurement

Procurement users have access to the Kojo Jobsite app on mobile devices and access Kojo Office when logged in at https://www.kojo.app. In Kojo Office, Procurement users can receive Requisitions, place Purchase Orders, manage Jobs and Vendors, and build Material Lists:

Procurement users will show up as "Ordering Agent" options for users sending Requisitions through the Kojo Jobsite app.

Procurement users are typically Purchasing Agents or Project Managers.

Back Office

Back Office users have the same access to the apps and modules as Procurement users, but will not show up as Ordering Agents for Kojo Jobsite users. Back Office users are typically Administrators, Managers, or Accountants.

Warehouse

Warehouse users have access to the Warehousing module on both a web browser and the mobile app. Warehouse users can check in deliveries, manage inventory, print bar codes, and pull pick lists.

Kojo Warehouse users are typically warehouse managers.
