When setting up and using your inventory catalog with Kojo, you may get items that have incorrect names, typos, units of measure are structured differently, or you want to make specific line items easier to search by name. Kojo gives you the ability to edit and/or delete line items so you can keep your catalog clean, neat, and easily usable by your field team.


In this article, we'll cover how you can make these changes within your Kojo account.

Edit a Line Item

You can edit line items within your catalog to make sure your able to find items quickly.

  1. Navigate to the inventory line items details screen.

  2. In the top-left corner, click Edit Item.

3. Within the edit item modal, you have the ability to edit the Description and UOM. To edit the quantity, click Make Adjustment and it will open the modal specific for editing quantities. This will override any quantity that is currently present.

4. When all edits are complete, click Save Edits to save your work.


Delete Line Item(s)

If you need to completely delete a line item from your inventory catalog, you have two options and you'll see both here. You also have the option to bulk delete line items which means you can delete more than one item at a time.

Warning: Deleting an item from your inventory catalog cannot be undone and will update any existing jobs utilizing the item!

  1. Navigate to the inventory line items details screen and click Delete Item in the top-right corner of the page. The item will now be deleted from your inventory catalog.

  1. Click Edit Item button in the top-left corner and the edit modal will appear.

2. Click Delete Item.

2. A modal will appear confirming that you want to delete this stock item from all jobs which you'll confirm. This action cannot be undone and will take action immediately to make this item unavailable in your inventory.

3. To bulk delete multiple line items, navigate to your inventory list screen. You can tick the checkbox next to multiple items on different pages or click the checkbox next to the column header Item Description. Ticking this box will select all of your inventory line items on the page. You can also click the button to Select all items in your inventory or remove the selected items by clicking Remove Selection.

4. Once your items are selected, click Delete in the top-right corner. A warning modal will appear. Since this can have a major impact on your inventory list, you must type delete and then click the delete button to complete.

5. Upon successful, deletion you will see the success alert and your inventory will be removed from the list.

6. Now you've successfully deleted items from your inventory list. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager directly.
