Learn how to setup a user to use for the ComputerEase Integration to connect with the correct permissions

Kojo integrates with ComputerEase via a ComputerEase admin user via odbc access to the ComputerEase database. An admin user needs to be set up in the ComputerEase Company you wish Kojo to sync. This new "KOJO" user can be created by using the username/password with PW MAINT login.

This user will need to be granted these listed permissions that were tested on:
โ€‹ComputerEase version 23.3.1.1, with the Kojo Synchronization Service v0.5.0

  • Special Settings

    • Allow G/L Period and Date Mismatch

    • Allow G/L Account and Cost Type Mismatch

    • Post to Closed Job

    • Post to Closed G/L Period

    • Can Add Attachment Links

  • Data Files (User Reports & ODBC)

    • Misc. Information

    • Company Information

    • Vendor Master

    • Sales Tax Master

    • Attachments

    • Autonumber Sequences

    • Accounts Payable

      • A/P Setup

      • VoucherFile

      • Voucher Distribution

      • A/P Checking Account

      • Postings to J/C

      • A/P Department

    • General Ledger

      • G/L Setup

      • Chart of Accounts

      • Departments

    • Job Costing

      • Job Costing Setup

      • Job Master

      • Job Phases

      • Job Categories

      • Job Detail

      • Job Detail Editing History

      • Job Cost Departments

    • Fleet & Assets

      • Equipment Costs Detail

    • Purchasing & Inventory

After you are complete your new "Kojo" user is now ready to be used to set up the ComputerEase Integration!
