We have been busy! There are a lot of new additions from our Product Team this month. Check out our July 2023 additions!

Features and Enhancements for the Office

New Expected Delivery Date and Tracking Number Order Columns

Tracking deliveries for items can be critical to the operations of a sub-contractor. We've added new columns in the PO for tracking expected delivery date and adding tracking numbers!

Automatically Group RFQ Vendors

We have heard from Customers that 99% of the time you send all your RFQs to the same group, and it's frustrating to have to enter the data every time you create an RFQ. Now, Kojo automatically creates Vendor Groups for you that become automatically available of RFQs, based on Vendors that you have frequently used in the past.

Search Job Locations in PO Detail

You previously couldn’t search shipping address when filling out “Shipping Details” in a PO. However, you can now search through the job locations for a given order, which makes it easier to find the information you're looking for!

Order Version History

The Order Version History product provides an audit trail of changes to purchase orders and allows Users to view and access different versions of an order at any time. Please see our Order Version History Guide by clicking HERE to learn more!

Quotes Scanning

You can now scan quotes from Vendors for your RFQs! This helps to save both the vendor and yourself time when entering quotes into Kojo. Please visit our RFQ Scanning User Guide by clicking HERE to learn more.

Order Lifecycle

You can now easily keep track of all associated Requisitions, RFQs, Releases, Deliveries, and Invoices with ease for any given PO. Stay organized and streamline your workflow with Kojo!

How it works

At the top of you PO you will now see a lifecycle of how the PO originiated. You can click on each element to be taken to its page, and you can expand and collapse your view of these details as well.

Here is what an example of a collapsed view would look like:

And here is an example of that view expanded:

Open/Close Requisition Button

Requisitions today are automatically marked as “Processed” if all requisition item quantities have been accounted for.

Accounted for can mean rejected, or all quantities have been fulfilled in an order. However, if an associated order item is deleted or the quantity is less than the requisition item quantity, we automatically re-open the requisition. This automatic change can be frustrating to Users, because they often make those changes intentionally.

The Open and Close buttons gives Users the ability to close or open requisitions and gives them the flexibility in Kojo to stay on top of their work on their terms.

We’ll continue to support automatic updates based on user behavior, but these new buttons enable customers to make Kojo work the way they want it to.

How it works

The open button lets purchasing agents open a requisition even if it is automatically (or manually) marked as closed

The close button lets purchasing agents close a requisition, even if its conditions don’t meet the criteria to be marked as closed.

You can locate the open or close button in the upper right-hand corner of the page when viewing a requisition. Once you click it, the requisition you are on will automatically be moved to processed (close button) or back to unprocessed (open button) for you.

Features and Enhancements for the Field

Visual Improvements (Mobile)

We have made some improvements to the look of our mobile app! Field Users on mobile devices will now see something like this:

Field Users on desktop devices can now title their carts!

Field Can Receive Deliveries Into an Inventory Location

We hope you are as excited about these new updates as we are! If you have any additional questions, please reach out to your CSM, or to our Support Team at support@usekojo.com
