What you need
To successfully connect your Instagram account to Foam, ensure you meet the following requirements:
Professional Instagram Account: Your Instagram account must be either a Business or Creator account.
Facebook Business Page Connection: Your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Business page.
If any of these are missing, the connection to Foam will fail. Follow the checklist below to get fully set up!

Only Professional Instagram accounts (Business or Creator) have access to Instagram Insights; they are not available to Personal accounts.
How to Check:
Open the Instagram app and tap the Profile tab (bottom right icon).
Tap the hamburger menu (three lines) at the top right.
Look for Insights:
If Insights appears ➔ Continue to Step 2.
If Insights is missing ➔ You must convert your account to a Business or Creator account before you can continue.

Step 2: How to check if your Instagram is linked to a Facebook Business Page

Your Instagram must be properly linked to a Facebook Business Page (note that this is different from linking to a personal Facebook profile).
How to Check:
Open the Instagram app and tap the Profile tab (bottom right icon).
Select Edit Profile.
Scroll down to the Page field:
If you see "Connect or Create" ➔ You must link your Instagram account to a Facebook Business Page before you can continue (Step 3).
If a Page name appears ➔ You can proceed to connecting your Instagram account to Foam.

We recommend completing this step on a laptop or desktop using a private/incognito browser.
Log in to your Facebook account via facebook.com
From the homepage, select Pages in the right-hand menu.
Select the Business Page you want to link to your Instagram account or create a new page.
From the selected Page’s dashboard, click Settings in the menu on the left.
Scroll down to the Linked accounts section and select Instagram.
Click Connect Account under the Instagram section and confirm the action. A new window will pop up prompting you to log in to Instagram.
Once logged in, click Continue to approve and link your Instagram account to your business portfolio.
Wait for the connection confirmation. You should see a message confirming that your Instagram account has been successfully linked.
You’re done! Your Instagram is now connected to your Facebook Business Page — ready for use with business tools like Foam.
