Connection Checklist
Before you attempt a connection between Instagram and Foam, let's run through some key checkpoints to ensure a seamless experience:
Is your Instagram a Professional account (Business or a Creator)? If unsure, check out these instructions.
Do you have a Facebook Business page created under your personal Facebook account? If not, follow these steps to set it up.
Is your Instagram linked to your Facebook Business page? If not, you can easily connect them by following these steps.
Do you have a Foam Talent account? If not, you can sign up by following these steps.
If you've verified all this information, you're ready to get started!
Instagram Connection Process
1. Log in to your Foam account on a laptop/ desktop computer.
2. Click Connect Instagram on the Connect your socials page:
You can also connect in Foam by navigating to the Tools tab, then selecting Platform Connections:
3. Enter your Instagram handle and click Connect.
4. A pop-up message will appear, asking you to log in to your Facebook account. This should be the same account that owns the Facebook Business page you connected to your Instagram account:
If a Facebook window doesn't show up, make sure you have no pop-up blockers enabled. Also, if you are already logged into Facebook, your browser may automatically take you to the next step.
5. Click "Continue as..." to authorize the connection:
6. All set! You should see a confirmation message that your Instagram account is now connected.
