When connecting your TikTok account to Foam, you'll be prompted to log in to your TikTok account using different sign-in methods. However, to ensure the correct account is linked, we highly recommend using the QR code method. This streamlined approach guarantees authentication accuracy and simplifies the process for a hassle-free connection.
Before You Get Started
Before diving in, make sure you have two essential devices on hand:
Your cell phone: Ensure you're logged into your TikTok account via the TikTok app.
Another device, like your laptop or desktop: You'll need to log into Foam through your browser's incognito/private window.
How to Authenticate TikTok
Log in to your Foam account from your laptop/desktop computer.
Click Connect/Reconnect TikTok.
A pop-up message will prompt you to log in to your TikTok – select the Use QR code option:
A QR code will be generated. Use your cell phone to scan the QR code – it will redirect you to your TikTok app.
In the TikTok app on your phone, you'll see a message to "Authorize QR code login". Click Confirm.
Back on your computer, you'll be asked authorize the connection. Make sure the correct TikTok account is displayed here and click Authorize:
And that's it! Your TikTok should now show as connected on your screen.
