How to add a platform to an existing talent profile

Learn how to manually add an additional platform to your existing creator!

Updated over 6 months ago

With Foam, you can manually add platforms to existing talent profiles. Currently, this feature supports adding TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. The only prerequisite is that the creator's profile must have at least one linked social account, which can be either connected ('verified') or manually added ('unverified') account.

πŸ“Œ For detailed instructions on how to add your talent using these options, please refer to the following guides:

Adding a platform to an existing creator's profile is useful when direct authentication isn't possible, such as when the creator isn't part of the TikTok Creator Marketplace. This feature allows you to enrich a talent's profile without their direct involvement.

πŸ’‘Adding a platform to the existing talent currently allows for adding one account per platform, i.e. one Instagram per creator.

Adding additional social platforms

πŸ“Œ This feature is available to primary talent managers and co-managers.

1. Log in to your Foam account.

2. Click on the 3 dots within the creator's profile

3. Select Edit Platforms

4. Click Add next to the social account you would like to add to your creator's profile.

5. Enter the creator's social handle and click "Next".

6. Confirm the account you want to add by clicking "Add".

7. All set! You've added an additional social handle to the creator's account.

Please note that the public data won't be available for the following accounts:

🎯 TikTok accounts that are not on TTCM;

🎯 Instagram accounts that are not Business or Creator accounts;

🎯 Snapchat accounts that are not public.

However, you will still be able to see a hyperlinked social account icon next to the creator on all rosters, lists, embeds, and in the Chrome Extension:
