Unverified talent refers to individuals who have not yet created an account and linked their socials to Foam. Adding unverified talent can be helpful when your creators are still in the process of signing up for Foam, but you'd like to include them in your roster, custom list, or embeds.
While you won't have access to the detailed content and metrics for unverified talent, you can still view their name, avatar, linked social accounts, and number of followers.
📌 Unverified talent can be submitted for consideration in Whalar Brand Deals; however, they must verify their social accounts to participate in a campaign and gain access to the Payments and Messaging tabs.
Steps to add Unverified Talent
Log in to your Foam account.
Click the Add Talent button in the top-right corner.
From the dropdown menu, select the social platform you wish to add, and then enter the creator's handle or URL.
Choose whether to enable or disable Smart Profiles, then click Next to continue.
Review the account(s) you want to add, then click Next again.
Complete or review the creator’s profile information and click Add.
The next step allows you to invite your talent to verify on Foam. If you'd like to keep them as unverified for now, select the "Skip for now" option.
If you select the "Skip for now" option during the adding process, you can send the invitation later. To do this, navigate to the Platform Connections page for the talent you'd like to invite and click the "Invite" button.
All set! Your unverified talent will now appear on your talent page, as well as in your Chrome Extension and embeds.
