Overview
Our Lightspeed Restaurant O-series integration allows you to easily setup a promo for new customers which gives them a special offer the first time they visit and check-in to myne's loyalty flow. Drive customer engagement and loyalty by adding a welcome promotion for new customers.
Use our Check-in flow to connect new customers to your brand. When a customer enters your check-in flow (via QR code or link on your website), they are prompted to share their details, which are used to create their customer profile, and if using Lightspeed O-Series, it will check the customer in to your POS.
Once they are checked in, you'll be able to link their transaction and payment method to an order on the POS. If they are a new customer, a new customer promotion will automatically be applied to their account. Setting up a new customer promotion can incentivise customers to share their details with you to drive re-engagement.
How to Setup
Enable Lightspeed O-series Integration
Follow our guide to Setup Your Integration With Lightspeed O-series. Once done, we will automatically enable the check-in flow from myne to your POS.
Note: Myne will also create a new customer record in your POS to manage your promotion tags.
Create a Promotion for new customers in Lightspeed
Log into your Lightspeed O-series Back Office
From the left-hand menu, click My Site (or Sites)
In your Site top menu - click Promos
Click 'All promos' once you are on the Promos page.
Select 'Create New Promo;.
You can now create a new promotion which will link to your Myne customer check-in flow and automatically offer new customers a special loyalty promo of your choice.
Note: You will need to ensure the customer taps their payment card which will link their card to their profile, so do not offer anything which gives away an item for free without taking a payment.
Promotion Name - Give your offer a name eg: New customer offer
Offer Type - Discount
Discount - We recommend a % off to ensure a payment card is used by the customer
Discount applied to - You can choose how to apply the discount, whether it be to All products or a select group.
Tip: Use myne to understand your customer trends and adapt your new customer promotions over time.
Minimum Purchase required - We recommend none to capture as many customer details as possible. Set based on your business needs
Eligible customers - Select Tagged customers and use tag 'New_Connection' which should already be created
Applicable Order Types - Set based on your business needs
Click Save once done
Now that your promotion for new customers is setup. Anytime a new customer check-ins via myne, the POS will automatically apply the new customer promo to a first time customer.
Once the customer claims their new promotion myne will automatically mark register the promotion as used and remove the promo for the customer.
