How to create Automated Messages
myne will be able to create tailored messaging that is sent to each customer based on a few simple steps. You can use the following steps to create new automated messages or edit existing automations.
Log into myne
From the left-hand side menu click on Automations
Click on “New Automation” to start new automation or the “Edit Automation” button to edit an existing one.
What should happen when it runs?
Once you are here you will see this as the third step in the automation creation flow. This is where you start to set up your messaging to customers.
Choose “Draft a message” from the dropdown to generate a set of draft messages to customers to send later or “Send a message” to instantly send messages after review to customers.
Choose “SMS” or “Email” to choose which form of message to send
Writing AI Instructions
The instructions field is where you can now fill out what type of messaging you want the AI to produce. A simple one or two sentence description is all you need. Here are some examples to guide you on writing effective instructions. Pairing the right customer group with the write actions is the key to creating powerful messaging.
Group: Morning coffee lovers. Instructions: Give this group 10% off their order if they order a wrap and coffee together.
Group: Regulars with 3 visits or more. Instructions: Thank this group for being regular customers and ask them to leave a google review.
Preview your message
Once you have filled out the instructions you go ahead and use the Generate message button to gain a preview of your message before you send it. Test messages before saving the automation.
Select a customer - A list of customers from your select group will now appear in this dropdown. You can select a customer from this list to see the exact message they will receive from your automation. Select a customer then hit Generate message.
Example message - For Emails a subject and body will be generated for you to preview. For SMS only a short body of text will be generated.
Conversations
All messages created via Automations will appear in your conversation section in myne. You can find conversations in the left hand-side menu on myne. Draft messages will appear in the “Outbox” where as “Sent messages” will go directly into “Sent”. Learn more about the conversations hub here.
