The short answer
UZO pays out by bank transfer or crypto. After you request a payout, approval is typically under one hour, and funds clear within about twelve hours of that approval. Your method and payout details are set in your dashboard.
Once you have earned a reward, getting paid should feel fast and predictable. This article explains the two methods you can choose from, how the timing works at each stage, and what genuinely differs between bank and crypto so you can pick what suits you.
The two methods at a glance
You can receive your payout in one of two ways. Both are available regardless of your account size, and both pay you your full 90% share of the simulated profit.
Method | Best for | What you provide |
Bank transfer | Traders who want funds in a local bank account | Your bank account details, set in your dashboard |
Crypto | Traders who prefer a digital wallet | Your wallet address, set in your dashboard |
Approval timing
When you request a payout, it first goes to our team for approval. This is typically completed in under one hour. Approval confirms the reward and clears it to be sent, so the clock on the rest of the process starts from this point.
Approval is the same whether you chose bank or crypto. Your method only affects what happens after approval is granted, when the funds are actually on their way to you.
Clearing timing
After approval, your funds clear within about twelve hours. Clearing is the period between us sending the payout and it landing where you can use it. The under one hour approval plus the roughly twelve hour clearing window is what most traders should plan around.
One more thing on your first payout
Your evaluation fee is refunded on your first reward payout. You keep your full 90% share, and the cost of getting started comes back to you.
Bank vs crypto: what differs
The approval and clearing windows above apply on the UZO side for both methods. The main difference is in the final leg, when the funds reach your destination, because banks and crypto networks settle on their own schedules.
Bank transfer can be affected by your bank's processing times, weekends, and public holidays. Funds may take a little longer to appear depending on your bank and country.
Crypto generally lands quickly once sent, subject to normal network confirmation times for the asset and network you use.
Choose the method that matches how you want to hold and use your funds. Neither method changes the amount you receive, only the path it takes to reach you.
How to set or change your method
Your payout method and the details that go with it (your bank account information or your wallet address) are set in your dashboard. Confirm these are correct before you request, since accurate details are the simplest way to keep your payout on the fast path.
If you need to switch from bank to crypto or update your details, you can do so in the same place. If anything looks unclear, reach our team at support@uzo.com.
