When you're recording lessons using your phone's built-in microphone, wind, range noise, and distance from the camera can degrade your audio quality. Adding a wireless microphone is the single most impactful upgrade you can make to your lesson recordings so the audio comes out clear.
Setting Up Your Microphone
There are many wireless microphone options available at a wide range of price points. A great option for coaching is a small clip-on (lavalier) mic that attaches to your collar or shirt. These are very affordable and easy to use. Here is an example of one you can purchase.
Ensure that the wireless microphone is compatible with your device(s) prior to purchasing.
Because setup steps vary depending on your device and the microphone you purchase, we recommend following the instructions included with your mic.
Once it's connected to your phone, V1 COACH will automatically use it as the audio source.
