How do I set up the NFC phone sticker?
To set up your V1CE NFC phone sticker, peel off the backing, stick it centrally to the back of your phone or inside your phone case, then scan the QR code on the sticker with your phone camera. The sticker is single-application (the adhesive is designed to stick once), and central placement gives the best NFC read range.
Step by step
Peel the backing off the V1CE NFC phone sticker
Stick it centrally to the back of your phone, or inside your phone case if you use one
Scan the QR code on the sticker with your phone camera
Create your V1CE account, or log in if you already have one
Set up your digital page with your details
The sticker is now ready to use. Tap it on another phone to share your page
Where to place the V1CE NFC sticker
Sticker placement affects how well the NFC chip reads from other phones. V1CE recommends:
Centrally on the back of the phone for the best NFC read range. Off-centre placement can reduce the read distance.
Inside your phone case is fine. The sticker is thin enough to fit under most cases without affecting the read range much. This is the tidiest option visually.
Avoid placing directly on a bare metal phone back. Without a case between the metal and the sticker, the NFC signal can be blocked. If your phone has a metal back, use a case or place the sticker on the case rather than the phone itself.
The adhesive is single-application
The adhesive on the V1CE NFC sticker is designed for a single application. Once you peel and stick the sticker, peeling it off again to relocate it will significantly reduce the adhesive's grip. It may not stick well on a second placement. Decide where you want it before you peel.
If you change phones and want to move the sticker, the adhesive may not hold well on the new phone. In that case, contact V1CE support and the team can sort out a replacement sticker.
Does the V1CE NFC sticker work with MagSafe?
V1CE has not formally tested MagSafe compatibility, so V1CE cannot guarantee MagSafe charging or accessories will work perfectly with the sticker in place. The sticker is thin, which usually means it sits behind MagSafe attachments without obvious interference, but customer results have varied. If you rely on MagSafe charging regularly, consider placing the sticker slightly off-centre as a hedge, or test before committing the adhesive.
If MagSafe support is essential to you, contact V1CE support before applying the sticker so the team can advise based on your specific phone and accessories.
What comes in the box
The V1CE NFC phone sticker is a small circular or rectangular sticker with a QR code on it. It works the same way as a V1CE card. It has an NFC chip and a QR code, and it links to a V1CE digital page when activated.
