How to Upload a Logo to a Terminal in Adyen Customer Area

Step-by-step guide to uploading a logo to Adyen terminals via Customer Area, including store-level setup, terminal requirements, file formats, and troubleshooting tips.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can upload a logo in Adyen Customer Area at either the store level or the terminal level. Most users will complete this from the store settings.

Before You Begin

A store must have at least one terminal assigned before you can upload a logo.

If no terminals are assigned yet, the logo upload option will not be available. Once a terminal is assigned to the store, you can return and complete the steps below.

Upload a Logo at the Store Level

  1. Log in to Adyen Customer Area.

  2. In the left-hand menu, select In-person payments.

  3. Select Stores.

  4. Choose the store you want to upload the logo to.

  5. Under Store settings, select the Customization tab.

  6. Scroll down to the Logo section.

  7. In this section, you will see all terminal models assigned to that store, along with:

    • the required logo dimensions

    • the supported file types for each terminal model, such as BMP, JPG, JPEG, or PNG

  8. Select the pencil icon next to the terminal model you want to update.

  9. Upload your logo file.

  10. A preview will appear showing how the logo will display on the terminal screen.

  11. You may need to try a few versions of the logo to get the size and appearance right.

  12. Once you are satisfied, select Complete.

Important Notes

  • Logos can be managed at the store level or terminal level.

  • The available upload requirements may vary by terminal model.

  • Reviewing the preview before completing the upload is recommended to make sure the logo displays correctly.

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the Logo section:

  • Confirm the store has at least one terminal assigned.

  • Verify you are in the correct store under In-person payments > Stores.

If the logo does not look right in the preview:

  • Adjust the image size or formatting and upload it again.

  • It may take a couple of tries to get the desired result.
