Event types provide a clear way to organize and manage tasks across your workflow. This article explains the default event types and how you can make them suit your business needs.

Default Event Types

By default, Vantage Software includes 9 event types:

  1. Delivery: For managing the transportation and delivery of materials or products.

  2. Install: Tracks installation tasks performed on-site.

  3. Maintenance: Used for ongoing maintenance activities after installation.

  4. Pick-up: For collecting materials, tools, or products from a location.

  5. Pre-build: Covers preparation tasks before the main build or event occurs.

  6. Production: Tracks manufacturing or production tasks.

  7. Revisit: For follow-up visits to resolve issues or check work completion.

  8. Survey: Used for inspections, site checks, or evaluations before starting work.

  9. Take Down: For dismantling and removing setups after the event is complete.

These event types cover the most common operational workflows and allow for better task organization.

Users on the Plus Plan can set some automation based on event types for different default task lists, custom properties, and completion reports, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

You can create your own in the settings if you need more event types. This article explains how.
