How to Manage an Event

Once an event is created, you can return to it at any time to update details, add information, or make adjustments as your project progresses.

To open and manage an event:

  1. Locate the event on the dashboard.

  2. Click on the event to open its details.

Editable Fields and What They Mean

  • Client: The company the event is being done for.

  • Client Contact: The main point of contact at the client’s company.

  • Project: Link the event to a project if it's part of a larger initiative.

  • Timezone: The time zone in which the event will take place.

  • Tasks: A checklist of what needs to be done to complete the event.

  • Start Date / End Date: Define the duration of the event.

  • Asset Name / Type / ID: Identify the asset involved. This helps with logistics and coordination.

  • Event Description: An overview of what will happen during the event.

  • Travel Info: Important travel notes such as directions, parking, or site access.

  • Delivery Info: Information on when and how materials will arrive.

  • Event Owner: Typically the salesperson or main coordinator responsible for this event.

  • Collaborators: Users who should be kept informed about changes but are not directly responsible.

  • Assignees: The internal installers or connected companies responsible for completing the work.

Additional Event Management Options

At the top of the event drawer, you can:

  • Change the event type

  • Add flags for internal attention

  • Check the completion of the event

  • Duplicate, archive, or delete the event

You can also do it by hovering over the event on the dashboard.
