Editing a Shortage

How to edit an existing shortage report and its associated items.

Once a shortage report has been created, you can edit it at any time to update or correct its information.

To edit a shortage:

  1. Go to the event where the shortage was reported.

  2. Click on the "Issues" section in the event drawer.

  3. Navigate to the "Shortages" tab.

  4. Select the shortage you want to update.

In the Shortage tab, you can edit the following fields:

  • Responsible – Assign or change the responsible person. They’ll receive a notification and see the shortage in their Reminders tab.

  • Status – Update whether the shortage is open or resolved.

You can also manage the shortage items within the report:

  1. To edit a shortage item, click on it from the list.

  2. Update any of the following fields:

    • Item name – Select a different item from the dropdown if necessary.

    • Quantity – Adjust the number of missing items.

    • Reason – Edit the reason for the shortage.

    • Shipment ID (optional) – Update or add shipment information.

    • Image (optional) – Add or replace supporting photos by dropping them in the Images field or by clicking the "browse" button and selecting the images from your computer. You can also upload them from your phone by selecting photos from gallery or by taking a photo directly in the app.

To delete a shortage report, click the "..." button in the top right corner of the shortage tab.
