The sidebar
The left sidebar is your main navigation in Vantage
Tasks | Your personal and team task list, with tasks from across events, projects, and opportunities. |
Schedule | A timeline view showing who is working on what and when. Internal teams and vendors side by side. |
Opportunities ★ | Your sales pipeline: potential deals before they become projects. |
Projects | Where you coordinate jobs. Each project brings together the events, tasks, and people involved. |
Events | Your day-to-day work: list and calendar views of all individual jobs. |
Media | A centralized file library for all photos and documents, organized by client. |
Incidents ★ | Issues reported during field work, tracked across all events. |
Timesheets ★ | Hours your team logs against events, reviewed and approved weekly. |
Invoices ★ | Vendor invoice management: review, approve, or reject invoices from subcontractors. |
Addresses | Reusable locations that can be linked to events and assets. |
Clients | Everyone you do work for, with their contacts, assets, projects, and documents. |
Vendors ★ | Your subcontractor relationships: profiles, coverage areas, and event types. |
★ May need to be enabled for your workspace. Availability depends on your Vantage plan.
At the bottom of the sidebar, the gear icon opens Workspace Settings, where admins configure event types, project statuses, task lists, and more.
The top bar
The top bar is always visible, no matter which page you are on:
Global search (center) | Search across events, clients, projects, and assets. Does not search file names or file contents. |
Notifications bell (right) | Shows your @mentions, page activity, and page invites. You can toggle between Only Unreads and All. |
Get help (right) | Opens the help widget where you can check system status, message support, and search help articles. |
Drawers
When you click any record in Vantage (an event, project, client, or asset) a drawer slides open from the right. This is where you view and edit all details.
Each drawer has a header with the status, title, and ID at the top, and tabs below. The tabs you see depend on what you opened. For example, events have Info, Docs, Comments, Issues, Photos, and Completion.
Drawers can open on top of each other. If you open an asset from inside a client, the asset drawer opens on top. Click the back arrow or click outside to close.
Views
Several pages offer multiple ways to look at your data:
List view | A table with sortable columns, filters, and bulk actions. Available on most pages. |
Board view | Cards organized in columns by status, so you can see work move from stage to stage. Available on Projects and Opportunities. |
Calendar view | A day/week/month calendar showing events as color-coded blocks. Available on Events. |
Toggle between views using the icons in the top-right corner of each page.
Saved views and filters
Use + Add filter to narrow what you see on any page. You can apply multiple filters at once.
To save your current setup (filters, column order, and which columns are visible) for quick re-use, click Saved views then + Add new view.
My views | Personal, visible only to you. |
Shared views | Visible to everyone in the workspace. |
Saved views are available on Tasks, Schedule, Projects, Events, Incidents, Timesheets, and Vendors.
