You can @mention users and vendor companies in comments to get their attention without leaving Vantage.
@mentions work in comments and replies across events, projects, opportunities, assets, and clients.
Mentioning a user
To mention a user, type @ in the comment field and start typing their name. A dropdown appears with matching users. Select the person you want to notify.
The mentioned user receives a notification in Vantage and an email with a direct link to the comment.
Mentioning a vendor company
When a vendor is assigned to an event, you can tag people on the vendor's side directly in the event comments.
Type @ in the comment field to see who is available from the vendor. Depending on who is assigned to the event, you may see:
No one from the vendor is assigned yet: You see the vendor company name. Tagging it notifies all Full users on the vendor's side, so someone on their team can pick it up.
The vendor's event owner is assigned: The event owner appears in the dropdown with the vendor company name in brackets. The notification goes directly to them.
Lite users from the vendor are assigned: Their individual names appear in the dropdown with the vendor company name in brackets. You can tag the specific person you need.
