After creating an event, you need to assign the people or vendors who will carry out the work. Assigning team members ensures they see the event on their schedule and receive notifications.
Adding assignees
Open the event and find the Assignees section.
Click Edit to set how many assignees the event needs.
Click +Add assignee and select the person or vendor from the list.
You can assign two types of people:
Lite users: individual team members who use the Vantage mobile app.
Vendors (external companies): when you assign an event to a vendor, the vendor company becomes responsible for staffing the job. Assigning a vendor fills the required assignee slots.
Setting a lead installer
When multiple people are assigned to an event, you can mark one of them as the lead installer.
To do this, hover over the assignee's name and click Set lead installer. The lead installer label is visible to all other assignees on the event.
Removing an assignee
To remove someone from an event, hover over their name in the Assignees section and click the Delete button. The event will disappear from their schedule, and they will be notified that the assignment was canceled.
