The Client Portal lets your clients log in and see their projects and events in Vantage. They can track progress and access shared documents, without being able to edit anything or see your internal workspace.
Clients cannot see other clients' data, your internal users, your vendor relationships, or anything not linked to their company.
The portal can be branded with your logo and colours, reach out to us to get it set up.
Inviting a client contact to the portal
Portal access is granted per contact, not per client company. You invite individual contacts from the client's Contacts tab.
To invite a contact:
Open the client from the Clients page.
Go to the Contacts tab.
Find the contact you want to invite. If they are not listed yet, add them first using + Add new contact.
In the Portal column, click Invite next to the contact's name.
The contact receives an invitation email with a link to the portal.
A contact needs an email address to be invited to the portal. If the Invite button is not showing, check that the contact has an email address.
Controlling what clients see in documents
Not all documents are shared with clients by default. File visibility in Vantage has four audience levels: Full users, Assigned lite users, Assigned vendors, and Clients.
A file is only visible in the portal if the Clients audience is enabled for that file.
You can set default visibility rules for each file category in Workspace Settings → Media visibility, and override visibility on individual files from the Docs tab of any event, project, or client.
Unlike documents, photos are shared with clients by default. To restrict a specific photo, update its visibility from the Photos tab on the event.
