Project statuses show where a project is in your workflow. Each project moves through statuses as work progresses, and you can change the status at any time.
Default statuses
Every workspace starts with three built-in statuses.
Status | Description |
New | The project has been created but work has not started yet. |
Done | All work on the project is complete. |
Canceled | The project will not go ahead. |
Between New and Done, you can add as many custom in-progress statuses as your workflow needs (for example: Awaiting artwork, Artwork approved, In production, Ready for install, and others).
Changing a project's status
To change a project's status, drag the project card to a different column on the board. The status updates immediately.
Older completed projects can be found at the bottom of the Done and Canceled columns using the See older projects link.
Customizing project statuses
Custom in-progress statuses are configured in Workspace Settings under the Projects tab. You can add new statuses, rename existing ones, and reorder them to match your workflow.
The New, Done, and Canceled statuses are fixed and cannot be changed.
