Every event in Vantage has a status that tells you where it stands in the workflow. Statuses are color-coded so you can quickly identify them on the event list and calendar.
Event statuses
Status | Color | Description |
Not Assigned | Red | The event has no assignees and no scheduled dates yet. |
Assigned | Orange | Team members or vendors have been assigned, but the event's dates have not come yet. |
Active | Green | The event has assignees and today falls within the event's scheduled dates. Work is in progress. |
Awaiting Approval | Blue | The assignee has submitted the completion report and the event is waiting for a manager to review it. |
Completed | Purple | The event has been approved and finalized by a manager. |
Completed with Issues | Purple | The event was approved but issues were logged during execution. |
Not Completed | Purple | The event was closed without being finished. Depending on your settings, you may be able to schedule a revisit. |
How statuses change
Vantage updates the event status automatically based on what happens:
Adding assignees moves the event from Not Assigned to Assigned.
When today's date is within the event's date range and assignees are present, the status moves to Active.
Submitting the completion report moves the event to Awaiting Approval.
Approving or rejecting the event sets the final status: Completed, Completed with Issues, or Not Completed.
Once an event reaches Completed, Completed with Issues, or Not Completed, its status cannot be changed. You can still update event details to keep your records accurate.
Completed and Not Completed events are hidden from the event list by default. Adjust your filters to include them if you need to see past work.
