When does a vendor payout become ready?

How delivery, cooling-off, After-sales holds, tracking and payment-account status determine vendor payout eligibility.

A payout does not become payable simply because you accepted an order. Eligibility is calculated from the order's real delivery status, the applicable post-delivery window and any active hold.

There is no general promise that payment will be sent within 48 hours of order acceptance or immediately after a piece is shipped.

What determines payout eligibility

For each seller and order, the platform checks the non-shipping items. The least advanced item determines the status for the whole payout.

This means that on a multi-piece order, one item still awaiting delivery or cooling-off can keep the payout from becoming ready.

Statuses shown in Payments

Not eligible

The payout cannot currently proceed. Possible reasons include missing tracking data, a fully refunded order, an active dispute or another blocking condition. Open the payment details for the specific context.

Waiting delivery

At least one relevant piece has not been confirmed as delivered. Valid tracking and a recorded delivery date are required before the post-delivery clock can begin.

Cooling off

The relevant pieces are delivered, but the operational post-delivery window is still running.

  • The standard window used by the payout engine is generally 14 days.

  • A Made-to-Order piece may use the shorter 3-day operational window only when it is explicitly configured as non-returnable.

Do not infer a 3-day window from the “Made-to-Order” label alone. If the return configuration is unknown, use the status and remaining time displayed in Payments as the source of truth; the applicable window may still be 14 days.

This payout window does not remove statutory consumer rights, BuyerProtection™ review or an active claim. Those can still place the payout on hold.

The payment details show the remaining cooling-off time when available.

Ready for payout

The required delivery and cooling conditions are satisfied and the payout is eligible for processing.

Ready for payout does not mean Paid and does not guarantee a same-day transfer. The team must still process the payout and the connected payment account must be valid.

Waiting delay

The payout has passed its eligibility window but has not yet been completed. Open the payment details and continue in the Vendor Dashboard chat with the order or invoice number so the team can review the blocker.

Paid

The transfer has been created and the payout is recorded as paid. The time at which funds appear in your bank account can still depend on Stripe and your bank.

Tracking is essential

Add accurate tracking through the Vendor Dashboard or the supported connected-store workflow. A shipment without a valid delivered status cannot reliably start the payout timeline.

If tracking shows Delivered but the payment remains on Waiting delivery, share the order number and tracking status in the Vendor Dashboard chat.

Events that can hold or change a payout

A payout may remain blocked or be recalculated when there is:

  • an active return, claim, returned-to-sender case or payment dispute;

  • a partial or full refund;

  • missing or inconsistent delivery information;

  • an incomplete or unavailable connected payout account;

  • a DAC7 compliance hold where applicable;

  • a disabled seller account; or

  • a manual accounting review.

An active After-sales dispute freezes the payout until Customer Care resolves the case. If a payout was already sent before a later refund, the adjustment is handled through the accounting and credit-note process instead.

How the net payout is calculated

The payment detail can include:

  • the seller's eligible sales amount;

  • shipping amounts assigned to the seller;

  • The Oblist commission and VAT on commission;

  • reconciled carrier or prepaid-label adjustments;

  • refunds, credit notes or approved deductions; and

  • other order-specific settlement lines.

The amount shown in Payments is the source of truth for that order. Commission rates and shipping treatment can differ by seller, piece and transaction, so do not rely on a generic percentage.

Where to follow it

Open Payments in your Vendor Dashboard, then select the relevant payment to see its eligibility, net amount, invoice and current status.

If something looks wrong, continue in the Vendor Dashboard chat and include the order number, payment or invoice number, and a screenshot of the status.
