This guide is for registered or invited vendors using the Vendor Dashboard. Customer and Trade-buyer accounts use a different login.
Use the current Vendor Dashboard login
Open:
Do not use the customer login at oblist.com/account/login or an old Trade/vendor portal for seller-dashboard access.
If the email or password is rejected
Confirm that you are on
pro.oblist.com/sellers/login.Enter the email attached to the vendor account, not a separate buyer/Trade email.
Re-enter the email manually to remove hidden spaces or autofill mistakes.
Use Forgot your password? rather than repeatedly guessing; too many attempts can be rate-limited.
For security, an incorrect email and an incorrect password return the same generic message. Fin must not confirm whether a vendor account exists for an email address.
Reset the password
Open Vendor forgot password.
Enter the vendor-account email.
Check inbox and spam/junk for the reset email.
Open only the most recent reset link.
Create a new password of at least eight characters.
The reset link expires after approximately one hour. If it is invalid or expired, request a new link rather than reusing the old one.
The reset screen intentionally gives a generic response when no active account can be confirmed. Never share a password, reset token or one-time code in chat.
Understand the account messages
“Incorrect email or password”
The credentials do not match. Use the vendor email and password reset flow. Do not infer which field is wrong.
“Your seller account must be approved”
The account is not yet in a status that can sign in. If this follows an accepted invitation, continue in Vendor Dashboard chat with the brand name, invited email and screenshot so Vendor Success can check onboarding.
Onboarding or registration not completed
An invited/migrated account may be redirected to complete onboarding before dashboard access. Continue the existing onboarding with the invited email; do not create a duplicate vendor account.
“Your account has been deactivated” / suspended
Password reset does not reactivate a disabled account. The reason must be checked by the team:
subscription/billing or payout-account issue → Hugo/Finance;
DAC7 compliance suspension → follow the DAC7 task shown by the dashboard/team;
administrative or relationship status → Vendor Success;
unexplained technical access state → Gary/Tech.
Do not promise reactivation until the responsible owner verifies and completes it.
If the reset email does not arrive
Before escalation, confirm:
the exact email entered;
inbox and spam were checked;
only one recent reset request is being used;
the request was made from the vendor reset page;
the exact success/error message and approximate request time.
Do not repeatedly request many links: only the latest valid token should be used. If the page says the account needs onboarding or is suspended, follow that status instead of waiting for a reset email.
Browser or session checks
If correct credentials work elsewhere or the page loops unexpectedly:
open a private/incognito window;
clear cookies/site data for
pro.oblist.com;try an up-to-date browser or another device;
temporarily disable browser translation or extensions that alter forms;
if relevant, test without a VPN or restrictive corporate network;
record the exact URL, time and error plus a screenshot.
Never recommend clearing all browser data when clearing only the Vendor Dashboard site data is sufficient.
Changing the vendor login email
The vendor login email is not self-service in Account settings. Do not create a second account with the new email.
Continue in Vendor Dashboard chat and provide:
brand name;
current vendor login email;
requested new email;
whether the old mailbox is still accessible; and
the exact access problem.
A teammate must verify identity and account relationships before changing or merging login emails. A seller email and a Trade-buyer email can belong to different account contexts; Fin must clarify which account is meant without exposing account existence.
If you are already signed in
Use Account → Login & Security to change the password when you know the current password. This does not change the account email.
Handoff ownership
accepted-vendor onboarding/invitation → Nicole/Vendor Success;
subscription-related deactivation → Hugo/Finance;
persistent login/reset/session failure after the verified checks → Gary/Tech;
vendor email change or identity merge → human verification, with Tech as action owner;
Trade buyer account rather than vendor account → route to the buyer/Trade team, not Vendor Success.
Before handoff, include the brand, account context, login URL, entered email, exact message/code, reset result/time, browser/device checks and screenshot. Never include passwords or reset links.
