What Is Vidle Housing’s Cancellation & Refund Policy?

Here’s how refunds work depending on when you cancel — and what happens if there’s an issue with your unit.

Updated over 2 months ago

Vidle Housing’s refund policy is designed to provide flexibility for travelers while ensuring fairness to hosts. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance you cancel your reservation:

  • Risk-Free 72-Hour Period:
Cancel within 72 hours of booking (if booked more than 14 days in advance) for a full refund

  • 28+ Days Before Check-In:
    Full refund (minus platform fees)

  • 14–27 Days Before Check-In:
    50% refund

  • Less Than 14 Days Before Check-In:
    Booking is non-refundable

After Check-In:
Refunds are not issued unless:

  • The unit is deemed uninhabitable, or

  • The guest reports a major, unresolved issue within 24 hours of arrival and provides supporting documentation
