What to Do If You’re Affected by a Fire or Natural Disaster

If your stay is impacted by an emergency like a fire, flood, or evacuation order, here’s what to do and how we can support you.

Updated over 2 months ago

If you’re currently facing a fire, natural disaster, or government-ordered evacuation, your safety comes first.

🚨 Step 1: Evacuate Immediately and Call Emergency Services
If you haven’t already, leave the area and dial 911 (or your country’s emergency number) for help. Please do not wait for host or Vidle support during life-threatening situations.

📍 Step 2: Get to a Safe Place
Once you’re safe, notify Vidle Housing support and share your current location. We’ll assist with temporary arrangements or relocation if needed.

🛑 Step 3: We’ll Coordinate with Your Host
Our team will contact the host, review the situation under our Major Disruptive Events Policy, and help determine whether you’re eligible for a refund, relocation, or adjusted stay.

We’re here to support you through this — please take care and contact us when it’s safe to do so. CustomerSupport@VidleHousing.com
