Troubleshooting: iPad Kiosk Not Responding

Is your VMC iPad app unresponsive or malfunctioning? If your kiosk has stopped responding, you may encounter the following issues:

  • The screen does not progress to the next step

  • The loading icon keeps spinning indefinitely

  • An error message appears on the screen

  • The app crashes unexpectedly

Self-Diagnosis & Troubleshooting Steps

1️⃣ Check Connectivity – Ensure your iPad is connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network and has internet access.

2️⃣ Verify Location Permissions – Set this to “Always” or “While Using the App” in your iPad settings.

3️⃣ Restart the App – Close and reopen the VMC app.

4️⃣ Reinstall the App – If the issue persists, delete and reinstall the app.

VMC is designed to function in offline mode if the internet connection is lost. The kiosk will continue handling basic functions and sync with the web dashboard once connectivity is restored.
