Innovation Hub: Configuring initiative types

Vizibl’s Innovation Hub was built on the foundation that good ideas can come from anywhere! Large organisations have historically had huge problems collecting and evaluating innovative ideas, with them often ending up in Excel spreadsheet landfills, never to be seen again.

Initiative types are company-defined representations that can be used to allow an organisation to use their own terminology when creating initiatives. There is no limit on how many initiative types you can create, and they can be customised with a symbolic icon and colour coded.

To create an initiative type, you need to be an Organisation or a Company Admin. Navigate to the Admin section > Company Settings > Initiatives and Opportunities.

Within Initiative Types click on Add new to create an initiative type. You will need a name, description, colour and icon. Press Save to finalise changes.

Whenever a new initiative is created, users will be prompted to select one of the available initiative types created by the organisation or the company admins.
