AI Translation translates the text you are reading with AI.
Use it when you want to listen to a text in another language, or quickly check the meaning before reading.
Translate from a text
Open a text and tap the action menu. To choose the target language or quality first, tap AI Translation Settings.
After closing the settings screen, open the action menu again and tap AI Translation.
The menu label does not include the quality setting. Choose the quality in AI Translation Settings.
AI Translation Settings
Open AI Translation Settings to choose the language and quality before translating.
Translation engine: public version uses AI translation.
Quality: choose Standard or High quality. Higher quality can use more credits.
To: the language to translate into.
Auto Translate: starts translation automatically when you open a text.
If the text is already in the target language, Voicepaper uses the fallback language configured in the same settings screen.
Restore the original text
After translating, open the action menu again if you want to switch back.
Tap Restore pre-translation text to return to the original text.
Tap Restore translated text to show the translated text again.
Plans and credits
AI Translation is available with Voicepaper Plus or Voicepaper AI.
Voicepaper checks the estimated credit usage before running AI translation.
If there are not enough credits, add credits or change your plan from the screen shown in the app.
