You can capture text with your camera and import it into the Reading List. Vertical and horizontal text are supported, and you can use a timer and burst capture.
Please use this feature only within the scope allowed by law (for example, personal use). Text imported with this feature cannot be shared externally.
Open the Camera Scan menu
On the Reading List, tap the Import button (cloud icon).
Tap Camera Scan.
Capture
When the camera opens, point it at the text and tap the blue capture button.
Each capture increases the counter on the right (for example, 1x, 2x). You can capture up to 30 pages.
Import
When you are done, tap the green check button. The recognized text is added to the Reading List.
Timer and burst capture
Tap the timer icon on the left to set a countdown and the number of pages to capture automatically. This is useful when you want to turn pages and capture continuously.
After burst capture, you can choose to save the result as one combined item, or split it into separate items per page.
