Use the timer or repeat feature to stop or loop speech automatically.
Open the Timer menu from the text reading screen
On the text reading screen, tap Timer (clock icon) at the bottom-left of the toolbar.
The timer menu will open. Tap the option you want to use.
Stop after a set time
Tap Stop After 5 Minutes (or another duration) to stop speech after the specified time. To cancel, open the timer menu again and select Off.
Stop at the end of the current text
Tap Stop When Current Text Ends to stop speech when the current text finishes reading. To stop in the middle, tap the play/pause button. To cancel, open the timer menu again and select Off.
Repeat the current text
Tap Repeat Current Text to loop the same text continuously. To cancel, open the timer menu again and select Off.
Notes
Timer, stop-at-end, and repeat cannot be active at the same time. Selecting one automatically cancels the others. To close the menu without changing settings, tap Cancel.
