Automatic Language Switching and Fixed Language

“Voice Language” has three behaviors: text-based language detection, one fixed language, and automatic switching within selected languages.

Open Voice Language

In “Voice Settings”, tap “Voice Language”. The current setting is shown on the right.

Detect language from text

When “Detect language from text” is selected, Voicepaper analyzes the text and decides the reading language automatically. This is the default setting.

Fix one language

When exactly one language is selected, reading is fixed to that language. For example, selecting “Japanese” shows “Fixed: Japanese”.

Switch only among selected languages

When two or more languages are selected, language detection is limited to those languages. For example, selecting “Japanese” and “English” shows “Auto: Japanese,English”.

Return to text detection

To return to the default behavior, open “Voice Language” again and select “Detect language from text”.
