How to Approve Your Online Purchase using the Voly Yachting Mobile App
If you have not done so already - head over to your App Store to download our latest Voly Yachting Mobile App!
Complete your Online purchase as normal, the merchant site may ask for you to approve the payment with your bank.
On your Mobile Device click on the notification which will be displayed on your device's homepage/notification bar. The notification will display for the user to whom the Voly Prepaid Card is assigned.
Please Note: You will need to select the notification from your device home screen first to be able to complete the approval in the Mobile App
3. You will be then taken into the Voly Mobile App where you will see the below banner. If this is the first time you are approving an online purchase via the Voly Yachting mobile app, you will need to have Biometric security enabled within the app. This will use your phone's security, such as face or touch ID to authenticate the online purchase.
The Voly Yachting App will take you through setting up a Biometric ID when you first use the 3DS if it is not yet enabled.
Enable your Biometrics in the mobile app
1. To find the Biometrics within the Voly Mobile App you will need to complete these steps.
Three Lines in the top right corner > My Account > Personal Details
The Biometric enable button is located here and must be toggled to the ON position. Otherwise, you will not be able to view your card PIN within the mobile app.
4. Tap on the banner found at the top of your screen and you will be taken to the Online Purchase Approval Page to either approve or reject your online purchase.
5. You will have 5 Minutes to approve or reject your online purchase from receiving the notification.
Please Note: The approval request will auto-reject if you have not manually approved or rejected it within the 5-minute timeframe.
6. To approve the Payment you will need to input your device's biometric authentication. Whether that's Touch ID or Face ID.
7. You will receive the confirmation/rejection page depending on whether you approve or reject the online purchase.
8. Once completed, select the Close button and you will return to the last page being viewed on the Mobile App. Once this is done you will be able to go back to the website where you were making the purchase and finalise the payment.
Please Note: You can still approve Online Purchases via the Desktop
Unrecognised Online Purchase Request?
If you do not recognise the request for an online purchase, please reject the request and suspend your Voly Card (if you have permission to do so)
