Crew Details

Crew Details can be changed by the user themselves under their My Account section of the Voly system but it can also be updated by Management or Captain with the relevant permissions in place.


Admin & Captain View

With the relevant Admin/Captain permission enabled you will be able to;

Add User - Adding new users to the platform. The ‘Type’ refers to the Crew Rank. New Crew users will inherit the existing permissions and limits related to their rank.

To Update any information on this page, double-click on the entry you wish to change.

Email Address - The user’s email address is used to login to the platform. Please note, that each user must have a unique email address

Mobile Number - Please enter your mobile number, including your country code. Please do not enter the ‘+’. If your mobile number starts with a ‘0’, please remove this.

The platform operates 2 levels of security and will send a security code to a user-registered mobile number when logging in on a new device, or every 90 days on existing devices

Whatsapp - This icon indicates the WhatsApp status. When WhatsApp is enabled for receiving security codes, this will display as green. When disabled, it will show as red and codes will come via SMS message to the provided number.

Reset Button - This button can be used to reset a user's password if they’re unable to do it themselves on the login screen. This will generate a temporary password.

Active - Deactivate/reactivate users: Double-click and select N (No) to deactivate a user or Y (Yes) to reactivate a user. If turned to N, the profile will instantly be deactivated and the user will no longer have access to the platform, either on the desktop or mobile app

Crew Users will be able to update their Details under the My Account tile on their Settings Page
