Additional Fields

Additional Fields are similar to Cost Centres in that they provide an option to assign a transaction to a particular group in addition to an expenditure category. However, Additional Fields allow you to create different options to select from:

Option List - this will provide a dropdown of options to select from

Yes/No - this will provide a tick box to confirm the option of ‘Yes’ or ‘No’

Free Text - this will provide a free type field

Number - this will allow a number to be entered, with no other text or characters

Furthermore, you can select multiple Additional Fields for individual transaction lines. Where you require an ‘Options List’, you can create a dropdown list using the instructions below:

  1. Enter the additional field name and select ‘Options List’ from the dropdown.

  2. Click the arrow to reveal the list

  3. Enter the option and click ‘Add New Option', repeat this till you have created all your options

  4. You can alter the order of the list, simply double-click on the relevant number to edit
