How to uninstall or disable Waalaxy?

Updated this week

To uninstall Waalaxy

  1. Click the puzzle icon located on the right side of Chrome’s search bar.

  2. Find the Waalaxy extension icon (👽), then click the three dots next to it.

  3. Select "Remove from Chrome" to uninstall the extension.

To disable Waalaxy without uninstalling it

If you want to temporarily stop LinkedIn from automatically opening without uninstalling Waalaxy:

  1. Click the puzzle icon on the right side of Chrome’s search bar.

  2. Select "Manage Extensions."

  3. Locate the Waalaxy extension.

  4. Toggle off the extension by clicking the blue button, turning it gray.

💡 Good to know

  • Why does LinkedIn open automatically with Waalaxy? Waalaxy requires an active connection with LinkedIn (e.g., for importing prospects and managing campaigns efficiently). This is why it automatically opens and pins a LinkedIn window during operation.

  • You can reactivate Waalaxy anytime by going back to "Manage Extensions" and toggling it back on.

  • Workaround: If the automatic opening of LinkedIn tabs is disruptive, you can try right-clicking on the pinned LinkedIn tab in your browser and selecting 'Remove'. Note, this workaround might not work reliably in every situation, as it depends on browser settings and Waalaxy's operation.
