Use an AI assistant to turn a website into a running LinkedIn campaign in about an hour: it finds your targets, builds the LinkedIn search, cleans your list, writes your sequence, and pushes everything into Waalaxy.
This guide covers three connected tools.
Waalaxy Copilot (AI skill): Finds your targets from a URL, builds LinkedIn / Sales Navigator searches, cleans your prospect list, writes your sequence. Runs inside Claude (or ChatGPT / Gemini). Claude Free works, any Waalaxy plan.
Waalaxy MCP: Lets your AI assistant push prospects straight into your Waalaxy lists and campaigns, no CSV needed. Needs Waalaxy Advanced or Business, plus Claude Pro or higher.
Waalaxy API: Build your own automations (Make, Zapier, custom code) around Waalaxy. Needs Waalaxy Advanced or Business.
💡 New to MCP? MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets an AI assistant plug into an outside tool and act inside it. Think of it as a secure bridge: once Waalaxy is connected through MCP, Claude can read your lists and campaigns and add prospects to them, straight from your chat. You connect it once, you don’t build anything.
What you'll build
We use one real example throughout: La Vague, an AI consulting agency for French SMEs. They sell an AI audit (€2,500), custom AI builds (€8,000+), and team training (€550/person).
The mission: go from their website to a live Waalaxy campaign aimed at the right people, with messages written for them.
Here is the full flow. Every part of this guide maps to a step.

Before you start
You need:
A Waalaxy account. Any plan for the skill. Advanced or Business for the MCP and API. See our pricing.
An AI assistant. We use Claude throughout. The skill runs on the free plan. The MCP needs Claude Pro or higher.
LinkedIn, ideally with Sales Navigator. Not required, strongly recommended (here is how to get Sales Nav up to 60% OFF).
💡 Why Claude? The Copilot skill is built and tested for Claude first. ChatGPT and Gemini versions exist but have limitations. See the FAQ.
New to Waalaxy itself (lists, campaigns, sequences)? Watch the full product demo first, then come back here.
Part 1 : Waalaxy Copilot (the AI skill)
What it is
The Copilot is an AI skill: a set of instructions you add to your AI assistant so it stops giving generic answers and instead follows Waalaxy's prospecting method, in the right order, with the right prompts.
It does the thinking a Waalaxy expert would do:
Reads a website (or a sample of your customers) and proposes targets
Builds the exact LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search to find them
Cleans your exported prospect list, dropping profiles that don't match
Writes a full outreach sequence tailored to the target
For every target it proposes, the skill gives you two things that shape your whole approach:
The pain. The specific problem this target lives with. This is what your first message speaks to.
Why we win. Why your offer is the right answer to that pain. This is your angle, the reason they should reply.
Together they define the approach: the prospect understands exactly what problem you solve and what you do.
What the skill does under the hood
Two things worth knowing so you trust the output:
Target scoring. The skill ranks each target on how well it fits your offer, who they are, how to find them on LinkedIn, and what pitch works. You stay in control: review the targets, push back, refine.
List cleaning. On a large search, the deeper you go, the worse the results get. Retired people still listed as "CEO", wrong job titles, off-target profiles. Expect 30% to 50% false positives on a list of several thousand. The skill reads your exported CSV and removes them, so your campaign only reaches real matches.
💡 The AI has no access to LinkedIn data. It builds searches and cleans lists. Waalaxy is what actually pulls the profiles.
Install the Copilot skill
You have two ways to install it. Pick one.
Option A : Claude web app (recommended, works on Claude Free)
Download the skill as a
.zipfrom https://www.waalaxy.com/waalaxy-copilot . For the always-latest version, use the GitHub repository: https://github.com/Waapi-Pro/waalaxy-copilot-skillOpen https://claude.ai and go to Settings → Capabilities → Skills.
Click Upload skill and select the
.zipyou downloaded. The skill is now available in your conversations.
💡 Installing from GitHub? On the repository page, click Code → Download ZIP. The skill sits in the skills/waalaxy-copilot-skill/ folder: zip that folder, then upload it in Claude like in step 3 above. GitHub always has the newest version, the waalaxy.com download is a periodic snapshot.
💡 The exact menu labels in Claude change over time. The waalaxy-copilot page and the GitHub README keep per-tool install steps up to date.
Option B : Claude Code plugin (faster, technical, bundles the MCP)
If you use Claude Code, one command installs the skill and the MCP together. Run:
/plugin marketplace add Waapi-Pro/waalaxy-copilot-skill/plugin install waalaxy-copilot
On first use, Claude opens your browser and signs you in with a magic link sent to your Waalaxy account email.
💡 This path also sets up the MCP for you. If you install this way, skip the manual connection in Part 2 and go straight to using it.
Using ChatGPT or Gemini instead
Ready-to-use versions exist: the ChatGPT Copilot and the Gemini Copilot. Neither has a one-step install like Claude, and Gemini's list-cleaning is less reliable. GPT and Gemini versions are being improved.
Use the skill: La Vague, step by step
Step 1 : Get your targets from the website
In our use case, we ask our Waalaxy Copilot to identify the targets for our website. Paste this into Claude:
Identify the targets for this website: https://la-vague-ia.netlify.app/
Claude returns 4 targets. Each one spells out the pain (the problem they live with), why we win (why your offer answers it), who they are, and how to find them on LinkedIn. The pain and the why-we-win are what make your later messages land.
💡 No website? You don’t need one. Just tell the skill what your business does and let it interview you. Paste this:
I don’t have a website, so act as a sales coach: ask me questions about my business so we can define the target together.
💡 No website? Give the skill a CSV of 5 to 10 existing customers instead, and ask it to identify what target group they belong to.
Step 2 : Pick a target and refine it
For La Vague we pick target #1: Owner, CEO, Founder, President · SMBs all sectors · 11-200 · United States
Pain: they see competitors talk about AI, feel the urgency, but have no method, no time, and a business to run.
Why we win: built by the Waalaxy founders (200k users, team scaled to 60). Builders, not consultants. Fixed-price diagnostic to start. Custom solutions you own.
Talk to the AI. This is the point. It has method, you have expertise on your offer. Reply in the chat:
Go with target #1.
Correct it, narrow the job titles, adjust the geography. The more you refine here, the better everything downstream gets.
Step 3 : Generate the LinkedIn search
Ask for the search:
Generate the LinkedIn search for this target.
Claude returns a ready-to-use search URL. It also tells you what's missing on a classic LinkedIn search, usually the industry and company-size filters, and recommends Sales Navigator for those.
💡 Sales Navigator is not required but strongly recommended. It unlocks industry, headcount, and company-size filters that make your targeting far tighter. It's free for one month, and you can get it up to 60% off through SalesNavSplit.
Paste the search into LinkedIn. When you run a classic LinkedIn search, LinkedIn often offers to run the same search in Sales Navigator, carrying your filters over so you only add the new ones.
If not, you will have to add those filters manually into Sales Navigator.
💡 Keep results under about 2,500 people. If a Sales Navigator search returns more, ask the skill to help you narrow it.
Step 4 : Import into Waalaxy and export the CSV
The AI can't read LinkedIn. Waalaxy does the scraping.
Import your search into Waalaxy (from the search URL or by linking the Sales Navigator search).
Waalaxy pulls every profile into a list.
Export that list as a CSV file (Select All → Export → CSV).
Step 5 : Clean the list
Export the CSV file and give it back to Claude:
Clean this list using the Waalaxy skill.
The skill checks the structure and removes off-target profiles. You get a split: cleaned, needs review, and dropped, with the data kept at every stage so you can push back.
You now have 2 options:
download the CSV and reimport it into Waalaxy into a new list (with "moving duplicates to the list" activated)
use the MCP feature (cf "Part 2" of this tutorial)
Step 6 : Write the sequence
Ask the skill to write your messages:
Craft the sequence for this target. The goal is to get a reply.
Tell it the goal up front: a reply, a call (say the duration), a trial. For La Vague, we want a reply.
The skill returns a 4-step sequence: a connection request plus 3 messages. We don't recommend a fourth. 95% of replies come within the first three messages.
Connection request. Do not add a note, it will hurt your acceptance rate.
Message 1. Qualify the prospect’s problem
Message 2 (follow-up). Add a quick pitch of the solution.
Message 3 (breakup). "Is this you, or someone else?"
Read every message. Change what doesn't sound like you. This is where your judgment matters most.
At this point you have a clean, targeted list and a written sequence. Next, get them into Waalaxy without copy-pasting: the MCP.
Part 2 : Waalaxy MCP
What it adds
The MCP is an open connection between your AI assistant and Waalaxy. With it, Claude imports prospects straight into your lists and campaigns, no CSV export, no manual upload.
Once connected, ask things like:
List my current Waalaxy campaigns and prospect lists.
Import these cleaned prospects into my "La Vague" list.
Add this list to my "La Vague" campaign and start it.
⚠️ The MCP needs a Waalaxy Advanced or Business plan and Claude Pro or higher. On the Pro Waalaxy plan the skill still works, but the MCP does not.
💡 Installed via the Claude Code plugin? Your MCP is already connected. Skip to "Use the MCP" below.
Connect the MCP in Claude
The MCP server URL is:
https://stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com/api/mcp
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → Add connectors → Add custom connector.
Name it Waalaxy and paste the URL above.
Select Waalaxy from the list and click Connect.
Click Authorize connection, then check your email for a magic sign-in link.
Open the link and sign in with the same email as your Waalaxy account.
The Waalaxy tools appear in your next conversations automatically.
Full connection guide, including ChatGPT: https://intercom.help/waalaxy/en/articles/15261653-connect-waalaxy-to-your-ai-assistant-mcp
⚠️ Secure sign-in only. The connector uses a browser magic link. It does not accept Waalaxy REST API keys. Sessions expire from time to time, so you re-authenticate now and then.
Test it. In a new conversation, type:
Test my Waalaxy connection.
Create the Waalaxy campaign
Go to the Waalaxy app.
Create a new list (we’ll send prospects to it with the MCP later)
Choose "1 invite + 3 messages".
Skip the note.
Copy/paste the 3 messages given by Claude.
⚠️ Be careful: {{firstname}} should always be in blue to be interpolated by WaalaxySave without prospects.
Use the MCP: fill the La Vague campaign
With the cleaned list and the sequence ready: ask Claude to import all the cleaned prospects into your Waalaxy "La Vague cleaned" list and add them to your "La Vague" campaign
Claude scans your account, finds the list and the campaign, and imports the prospects. Every import shows up in Waalaxy with an "MCP" source tag.
And that's it. Your campaign is now running with the right messages sent to the right prospects.
💡 Imports follow your normal Waalaxy quotas and deduplication. A prospect never enters the same campaign twice.
Go further: connect your other tools
Because the MCP is an open connection, Claude can pull from your other connected tools and push into Waalaxy in one move:
HubSpot: Find everyone I emailed in the last 3 weeks who never replied, and add them to my LinkedIn "Follow-up" campaign.
Apollo or intent-signal tools: pull leads who just changed jobs or whose company raised funding, and drop them straight into a Waalaxy campaign.
Make / Zapier: connect tools with no native integration (build a bridge between your CRM and Waalaxy). See Make x Waalaxy import and Zapier x Waalaxy import.
This is how you get a Waalaxy campaign running close to autopilot: a scheduled AI task that finds fresh prospects on a signal every day and feeds them in.
Part 3 : Waalaxy API
The MCP is a simple way to reach the Waalaxy API from an AI. If you want to build your own automations, the API is open.
With it, and with custom properties, you build heavy workflows in Make, Zapier, or your own code. Example: when a lead hits a status in your CRM, automatically add them to a Waalaxy campaign for a LinkedIn follow-up.
Claude also knows how the API works. Ask it to help you design a workflow, or to write the calls.
API documentation: https://docs.waalaxy.com/introduction
⚠️ The API requires a Waalaxy Advanced or Business plan.
FAQ
Which plan do I need?
The skill works on any Waalaxy plan, even Claude Free. The MCP and the API need Waalaxy Advanced or Business, plus Claude Pro or higher for the MCP.
Is Claude Free enough?
For the skill, yes. For the MCP, no, you need Claude Pro or higher.
Does this work with ChatGPT or Gemini?
Yes, with limits. Use the ChatGPT Copilot or the Gemini Copilot. Neither has the one-step install Claude has, and Gemini's list-cleaning is weaker. We recommend Claude for now.
Do I need Sales Navigator?
No, but it's strongly recommended. It adds industry, headcount, and company-size filters that make targeting far tighter. It's free for one month, and available up to 60% off via SalesNavSplit.
Why import into Waalaxy at all if the AI found my targets?
The AI has no access to LinkedIn data. It builds the search and cleans the list. Waalaxy is what pulls the actual profiles. No AI reaches LinkedIn results directly.
What are the LinkedIn limits?
Up to 200 invitations per week (LinkedIn's hard cap, around 800 per month), and 120 to 150 messages per day. Waalaxy spaces and randomizes actions to mimic human behavior.
How many messages should my sequence have?
A connection request plus 3 messages. Skip the fourth. 95% of replies land within the first three.
Can Claude read all my LinkedIn conversations or auto-reply to leads?
Not yet. Reading full message history and auto-replying are not available through the MCP today.
Can I schedule campaigns or read campaign reports through the MCP?
Not yet. The MCP today imports prospects into lists and campaigns.
Can I fully personalize every message per prospect?
Yes. Ask the skill to generate message 1, 2, and 3 as columns in your CSV, import them as custom properties, then use those properties as variables in your campaign. A full walkthrough is coming.
I hit a "stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com page can't be found" error when connecting.
Check the MCP URL is exact, confirm you signed in with your Waalaxy account email, allow pop-ups, and stay in the same browser session. If it persists, contact support with a screenshot.
Coming next: Waalaxy AI
Everything above puts an AI on top of Waalaxy. The next step removes the manual parts entirely.
Waalaxy AI finds the best leads, writes tailored messages, sends the connection request, the opener, the follow-ups, and the breakup, and replies to leads, so you get meetings with nothing to do. Early campaigns are seeing 30% to 60% reply rates.
It launches in a closed beta with a special price.
