The Waalaxy AI Connector links your Waalaxy account to AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT, using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that lets AI tools connect to external apps.
Once connected, your assistant can list your prospect lists and campaigns, import LinkedIn prospects, and add them to a campaign on your behalf, directly from a conversation.
All actions run with your account's permissions. The assistant cannot see or do anything you couldn't do yourself in the Waalaxy app.
Requirements
A Waalaxy Advanced or Business plan. You can check or upgrade your plan from your billing page.
A Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise account, or a ChatGPT plan that supports MCP connectors.
Access to the email address linked to your Waalaxy account (required for sign-in).
⚠️ Important
If your Waalaxy plan is downgraded after connecting, prospect imports will be blocked. Listing your prospects and campaigns remains accessible.
Connect to Claude
Requires a Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan.
Navigate to Customize → Connectors → Add Connectors → Add custom connectors.
Enter the name Waalaxy and paste the URL: https://stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com/api/mcp. No other field is required. Click Add.
Select Waalaxy from the connectors list and click Connect.
Click Authorize connection.
Check your email for the magic link and click it to complete sign-in.
Once connected, the Waalaxy tools appear in the connectors panel of every new Claude conversation.
💡 Good to know
If you're already signed in to Waalaxy in your browser, the sign-in page auto-detects your account email. If prompted to enter an email manually, use the same one as your Waalaxy account.
Connect to ChatGPT
MCP connector support depends on your ChatGPT plan.
Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings, activate Developer Mode, then click Create app.
Paste the URL: https://stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com/api/mcp. No other fields are required.
Name your connector and complete sign-in. Use the same email as your Waalaxy account.
💡 Good to know
The exact menu path may differ slightly depending on your ChatGPT interface version. If in doubt, refer to OpenAI's documentation on adding MCP connectors.
What you can do
Once the connector is active, try prompts like these:
Audit Campaigns & Prospect Lists: "List my current Waalaxy campaigns and prospect lists so I can see where to organize my new leads."
Import Leads into Specific Lists: "Import these 5 new LinkedIn leads [insert names/URLs] into my 'Tech Founders' prospect list."
Launch Leads Straight into Campaigns: "Take this list of target CEOs, import them into my 'Enterprise Leads' list, and add them directly to the 'Q2 Outbound Sequence' campaign."
Imports made through the connector are visible in the prospect's history in Waalaxy, with MCP listed as the import source.
Limitations
Secure sign-in required. The connector uses a browser-based sign-in and does not accept Waalaxy REST API keys. For headless automation that does not require a human in the loop, use the REST API instead.
Session expiry. Access tokens are refreshed automatically. You'll occasionally be asked to sign in again.
Same quotas. Prospect imports follow the same quotas and de-duplication rules as the rest of the Waalaxy app.
Troubleshooting
The Waalaxy tools don't appear in my assistant
Reload the client and verify the server URL is exactly https://stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com/api/mcp.
The assistant says it can't find my lists or campaigns
Confirm you signed in with the email linked to your Waalaxy account. Ask your assistant to run a connection test: "Test my Waalaxy connection." If the test fails, disconnect and reconnect.
The sign-in window closed without completing
Re-trigger the connection from the connectors panel. Make sure pop-ups are not blocked in your browser and open the magic link on the same device.
