What are LinkedIn's restrictions?

How does Waalaxy adapt to the new LinkedIn rules?

Sending invitations

LinkedIn limits the number of invitations you can send to 200 per week.

Once this limit is reached, your ability to send invitations is automatically paused.

Your queue will then display the status Postponed next to each pending invitation.

The sending of invitations will resume the following Monday 📆.

Adding an invitation note

If you have a Freemium LinkedIn account, you can only send 5 notes per month, with each note limited to 200 characters.

Reinviting a prospect who hasn't accepted your invitation

If a prospect hasn't accepted your invitation after a certain period, you can delete the pending invitations from your Waalaxy account and send a new one.

  • You can select a date to delete all pending invitations sent before that date.

However, you must wait 3 weeks after deletion before you can send a new invitation to these prospects ☝️.

You can then update the status of your prospects in Waalaxy so they appear as "Not connected" again.

This can be done in two ways:

💡 Good to know

We discourage this practice as it may be perceived as spam.

A prospect who does not accept your invitation often signals a lack of interest in establishing contact 👀.

Why does my import stop at the first 3 profiles?

If Waalaxy only imports the first 3 profiles of your search, you've probably reached the maximum number of searches allowed per month on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn applies a monthly limit on the commercial use of search. Once this limit is reached, you can only access the first 3 results of each search.

This restriction is designed to encourage you to switch to a paid plan (such as Sales Navigator) to enjoy unlimited searches.

Since Waalaxy relies on the results that LinkedIn makes available to it, it cannot go beyond what LinkedIn displays. The import, therefore, also stops at the first 3 profiles, and the following ones appear as "LinkedIn Member".

💡 To remove this limit, wait for the monthly renewal of your LinkedIn quota, or switch to a paid LinkedIn plan such as Sales Navigator.
