Account Preferences Module

Staff App: Account Preferences Module

Written by Scott Pfeifer

Overview

The Preferences page allows staff to customize their WaitWell account and experience, as well as connect their online meeting and calendar platforms

Access Preferences Page

  1. Select Accounts from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Select Preferences from the popup menu that appears:

Profile Picture

Staff may upload a profile picture that is visible to customers when they are choosing who to book an appointment with. Note: An Admin may also create a public biography for staff that show next to the profile picture.

Theme

Staff may choose between dark mode and light mode.

Reset Password

Staff may reset their password via email. This button will not do anything if the organization is utilizing SSO.

Staff Notifications

Staff may opt in to receive notifications when specific events are triggered within WaitWell, of which there are several to select from. Staff may choose to receive each notification via the following three methods:

Push Notifications

Push notifications are toasts handled by the desktop operating system's notification interface. In Windows, they appear in the lower right corner of the screen. In MacOS, they appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Selecting a notification will open the WaitWell page relevant to the notification.

For push notifications to work, grant WaitWell permission in your browser and ensure a WaitWell tab is open in the desktop browser (the tab doesn't need to be active, just open).

SMS & Email Notifications

For SMS and email notifications to work, the staff's WaitWell account must have either an associated email address or phone number, respectively.

Reports

Staff may choose to have location summary reports emailed to them. Selecting the dropdown allows them to choose a cadence of daily, weekly, or monthly.

App Integrations

Staff may connect their Zoom, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook accounts to WaitWell. For these to work, the organization must:

  1. Have a WaitWell subscription that includes integration(s) with the appropriate platform and,

  2. Have a designated WaitWell Admin (and likely an IT) configure and enable the integration(s)

Product Notifications

Staff may choose to have WaitWell new product update information emailed to them:
