Overview

The staff module is where admins may view, create, modify and delete staff accounts. Staff may be assigned permission roles, scheduling positions, specific queues and service types, and locations.


Last Active Column

The Last active column indicates the most recent time during which a staff interacted with the system.

Online Status

The online column indicates the current status of a staff.

  • Green: If a staff member has visited the Queue page within 10 minutes.

  • Yellow: If a staff member has visited the Queue page within 10-30 minutes.

  • Grey: If a staff member hasn't visited the Queue page within 30 minutes or greater.


Create or Modify a New Staff Account

  1. Select the Add Staff button at the top right of the page to create a new staff account, or select an existing one to modify.

  2. General Information: Populate the mandatory fields. Note, if SSO is enabled for your organization, these three fields must exactly match the staff's SSO credentials.

    • Email

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Password: leave blank. The new staff will receive a welcome email asking them to create their own. If SSO is enabled, they must use their existing SSO password

  3. Permission Role: Choose a permission role for this location.

  4. Queue/Service Type Access: Choose which queues and/or service types for which the staff member may view and serve.

  5. Multiple Location Access: If the staff needs access to multiple locations, choose the permission role for each location.

  6. Profile Picture: Upload a profile picture visible to customers when choosing with whom to book an appointment by selecting the headshot icon to upload a unique staff photo (optional).

  7. Profile Bio: Add a profile bio visible to customers when choosing with whom to book an appointment (optional).

  8. Scheduling Positions: Choose which shift positions to which this staff member is assigned. This field is only relevant if the organization is using the (optional, and not necessary at all if your organization isn't using the Scheduling module).

  9. Enable Account: Disable this toggle to inactivate the staff member's account without fully deleting it.

  10. External Identifier: Enter a unique alpha-numeric internal identifier for this staff member (optional)

  11. Employee Number: Enter a unique numeric internal identifier for this staff member (optional)


Bulk Edit Accounts

Select multiple staff then the Edit button at the top right of the page to quickly make changes to all the selected accounts at once including permission role, queue access, and enable/disable account.
