Here's how to start and end a daycare day or a boarding stay in Walkies. Overnight stays and home sitting work the same way.
Start the stay
On Home, tap Activity.
Choose Daycare, Boarding, Overnight stay or Home sitting.
Choose the pets and tap Start.

During the stay
It's listed on Home under Pet Sittings, so you can come back to it.
Tap Update to log meals, medication, toilet breaks, play and notes, and the camera button for photos. See How do I log updates during a visit?
To take a pet out for a walk, tap Update > Walk. The walk is tracked with GPS and added to the stay's timeline.
When a pet can be collected, tap Update > Ready for pickup. Your client is told straight away.
End the stay
Open it from Home and tap End.
Add Overall notes, pet notes and checklist ticks on Summary.
Tap End. Your client gets the finished report.
What your client gets
"Boarding started" (or daycare, overnight stay, home sitting) when you start, and "finished" with the report when you end.
Turn these off in Menu > Client notifications > Pet sittings.
Good to know
Walkies doesn't use the words check in and check out. Starting the stay is checking in, and ending it is checking out.
Pets on a stay can go on walks, but can't be added to another visit until the stay ends.
To change a stay's dates afterwards, tap ... > Edit date. To reopen one you ended by mistake, tap ... > Restart.
