Here's how to add clients from your phone's contacts, so you don't have to type them in.
Import from contacts
Tap Clients, then the + button. On iPad, the + is at the top of the list.
Choose Import from contacts.
Allow Walkies to see your contacts if you're asked.
Tick the contacts you want. Use Search contacts to find them by name, email or phone number.
Tap Import. They're added to your Clients list.
What's copied
First and last name.
The first email address, and email notifications are turned on.
The first phone number. On Pro and Max, text notifications are turned on too.
The first address, and the contact's photo.
Add pets, a second owner, notes and emergency contacts on each client afterwards. See How do I add a pet?
Good to know
Importing needs a paid plan.
Walkies doesn't check for duplicates, so don't import someone who's already a client.
If you said no to contacts access, you'll see Turn on contacts access. Tap Open settings to allow it.
