Here's how to keep a record of a pet's vaccinations, with the date it's due again and a copy of the certificate.
Add a vaccination
Tap Clients, open the client, then the pet.
Under Vaccinations, tap Add vaccination.
Choose the Vaccination, like DHPP or rabies. Choose Other and add a Name for anything else.
Set the Date given.
Check the Due date. It's set from the usual gap for that vaccine, like a year, or three years for rabies.
Add the Certificate, a photo or PDF, if you have it.
Turn on Verified if you've seen the certificate yourself.
Tap the ✓ to save.
Seeing what's due
Each record shows Up to date, Due with the date (within 30 days), or Overdue.
The pet shows Up to date, Not up to date or Unknown, and an overdue vaccination puts an alert on the pet.
Tap a record to edit it, verify it, change the certificate or delete it.
Plans and permissions
Vaccination records need Walkies Pro or Max. Certificates need Max.
Team members can see records but can't change them.
Good to know
Adding a newer record of the same vaccine replaces the old one.
Clients can add their own records in the Walkies Journal app. They show as owner-provided until you verify them.
To remind clients before a vaccination is due, see How do I turn on vaccination reminders?
