Some pet sitters ask for a deposit before the rest of the invoice. Here's how to pay one in the Walkies Journal app.
Pay a deposit
Tap Invoices and open the invoice. It shows Deposit required with the amount and when it's due.
Tap Pay deposit.
Choose how to pay: a saved card, a new card, or Apple Pay.
Tap Pay.
You'll see Deposit paid, and your pet sitter is told.
Paying the rest
The invoice then shows the deposit as Paid and the Total remaining. Tap Pay when you're ready to pay the rest. See How do I pay by card?
Good to know
Deposits are paid in the app when your pet sitter uses Walkies Pay. There's no tip on a deposit.
You can pay the whole invoice at once instead: tap Pay invoice.
In the Unpaid list, the invoice says Deposit unpaid, Deposit paid or Deposit overdue.
