Your Guide to Walla's Widgets
Updated over a week ago

With Walla, your clients have two options on how to buy, book and manage classes but all clients must first start on your website to create an account. You will need to add the Walla widgets to your website on the day you're scheduled to go live and/or start presales but not before.

Things to Know:

  • Currently, there is not a widget for products.

  • Once the widgets are embedded on the website, you are considered live with Walla, so don't add the widgets until the agreed upon time on your go-live date.

  • You will need to add the Walla widgets to your website on the day you're scheduled to go live and/or start pre-sales, but not before.

I don't manage my website, how do I get my web person access to the widgets?

Create a staff account for your web person (with ability to manage the Widget Settings in Staff Permissions). Once they login to Walla, they can follow the above steps to manage the Widget Settings and copy codes to embed on your website.

Walla's Widgets

Your widgets are available as soon as your Walla site is created. You can access them by going to Business Settings, Widget and App Settings, Widget Codes. Here, you can copy the code, then paste the code into the appropriate page on your website. We recommend testing this before your go live date so you can ensure you like the look of your pages and everything works smoothly prior to your go live date.

Walla requires adding the following widgets to your website

Class Schedule: This is how your clients will see your schedule and book their classes

Plans & Pricing: This is how your clients and potential clients will see what plans are available for purchase at your studio

User Account: This provides an easy place for clients to spot login to manage their account

Appointments: This is how your clients book appointments

Appointment Plans and Pricing: This is how clients purchase appointment plans

Enrollments: This is how your clients will view and book any events, workshops, retreats and trainings scheduled as enrollments

Video on Demand: This widget allows all clients to view the VOD library but only those with access will be able to play the videos

Gift Cards: Gives visitors a way to easily view and purchase gift cards for their friends and family

Video Courses: If you're using our Courses feature, this allows clients who purchase your courses to access and view

How to Embed a Widget on Your Website

This guide will walk you through the process of putting either a link to a widget or embed a widget into your site. Whether you're tech-savvy or new to web development, follow these instructions to ensure your clients can easily access their account, book, and buy your services through your site. In our example, we use the Class Schedule widget.
