You can use this report to get a comprehensive picture of the performance of your instructor. Analyze attendance and revenue metrics for your instructors over time to evaluate their performance. Select an instructor’s name to view their Instructor Stats.

This report shows the average number of checked-in clients per class based on all classes taught by a particular instructor over a selected period. Average clients per class for an instructor is calculated by taking the total number of all checked-in clients for all classes taught by the instructor during the selected period divided by the number of classes taught by the instructor.

Reliability looks at the number of classes an instructor is scheduled to teach, and the number of classes actually taught. Classes an instructor substitutes for another instructor are not included in this ratio.

If an instructor is originally scheduled to teach 10 classes, teaches all 10 classes, and substitutes one additional class for an instructor, the instructor’s ratio will read as 10/10, not 11/10 or 11/11.

If an instructor is originally scheduled to teach five classes and finds a substitute for one of them, then their ratio will read 4/5.

Classes where the instructor is an additional instructor, not the main instructor, are counted towards the instructor’s total ratio.

This report looks at new clients whose first visit took place over the selected period and who returned for a second visit. The client’s second visit does not have to be with the original instructor, and the second visit does not have to take place during the selected period. The second visit can take place during a different month.

It is important to understand what revenue is and what probability is as they relate to these reports.

Revenue is the total amount collected before costs are deducted.

Profit is the total amount collected after costs are deducted.

The cost per class is determined by looking back at the past 30 days, taking the number of visits the client had in that window, then the total number of visits is divided into the client’s payment for that month. The cost per class is based on the end of the payment period. If a client is in their first payment period, the average cost per class for all clients with the same plan that are not in their first payment period is used instead. To calculate the cost per class for annual and weekly plans, the plans are converted to monthly plans.

Until the plan is completed, the cost of the plan is divided by the number of passes. For example, if a 10 pack @ $100 completes on 8/1 and the current date is 7/20, the cost is calculated by taking $100 and dividing that by 10. This leaves us with a cost per class of $10. However, when the plan is completed, the actual cost is computed not by taking all passes associated with the plan, but only the actual number of used passes are then considered. Using the same 10 pack in our example, let’s say the client only uses 5 out of 10 total sessions when the pack completes (expires). This would leave us with a cost per class of $20. In other words, when a pass completes, the revenue from the limited plan can be higher than the estimated average revenue earned before the plan is completed.

This report calculates the average revenue per instructor over a selected period. The Avg/ Class filter allows you to view the average revenue of all classes taught by the instructor over the selected period. The total filter allows you to view the total revenue generated from all classes taught by the instructor over the selected period.

This report calculates the average profit per instructor over a selected period. This report also has an Avg/ Class filter and Total filter. Remember, profit is revenue minus teacher pay.
